One thing you may have not known about me – is that I am Catholic. I will admit, I do not practice the religion like I was taught to when I grew up… But I still do follow some of the traditions of Lent… I love eating chicken and hamburgers, but through out Lent, you are not suppose to eat meat on Fridays. With Gorton’s, Now there are many opportunities for me – a busy single mother – to stand true to that tradition.
A little about Gorton’s: We stand behind the promise that our customers can “Trust the Gorton’s Fisherman.” We take this promise seriously, and it applies not only to the quality of products we make, but to how we make them. Gorton’s actively supports environmentally responsible management of our natural resources as a way to ensure that our consumers will always have access to healthy and quality seafood products well into the future. Keeping this idea alive and well is a job we must do every day. (Read More)
I am not a huge fish person… But Gortons has a great line of products that WILL help me get though this Lent season. I have had the Gortons Fishsticks many a times during lent…. I love fish sticks.. which everyone thinks is weird, because I really don’t like Fish. My favorite way to eat fish sticks…. Just put them in the oven – and warm em up …. Place some cheese on top of the fish sticks and let the cheese melt. Delicious!
