Do you live near water? Do you have little ones? Then you won’t want to miss Goldfish Swim School’s Annual Safety Day.  Goldfish Swim School is hosting water safety events for families (free to the public and members) on May 20 at each of the seven Metro Detroit locations.

A little about the Water Safety Event:

Children and families will receive information about ways to stay safer in and around the water this summer! According to the Centers for Disease Control, drowning is the leading cause of accidental-injury death among children ages 1 to 4. Goldfish aims to educate families by calling attention to steps we can all take to prevent accidents from occurring.

• Water safety presentations
• Family swim with professional, certified lifeguards on duty
• Fire trucks and rescue personnel
• Kids entertainment
• …. and more!

All Events will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2017.  Event times do vary by locations.  They are as followed:

Goldfish Swim School – Ann Arbor:
2107 W Stadium Blvd,
Ann Arbor, MI 48103

As for an update on Peanut.  Well, things have gotten much better with her!  She is finally looking forward to getting in the pool with her teachers again!  Does she still have a little fear of doing some things? Yes, but the instructors are trying to help her work through those insecurities – and push her a little more in what she can do!
