I am sure my kids have seen EVERY side of me. They see the Loving Side, the Goofy Side, the The Serious Side and then the MOMBIE side! You know, that person a mom becomes when she’s over tired and then starts to get hungry! I notice the Mombie side starts to come out most when I am sitting at my computer working.
Some days I get so busy and being on the go, I realize that I missed something. That’s when the tummy is rumbling, or I feel completely exhausted. I become a MOMBIE When I get like that I love to run into the local Kroger to pick up a SNICKERS® Bar …Or 4!
Thank goodness they have them right at the check out lane!
When I had Peanut, I was induced. They Set a time for me to come in and told me that I couldn’t eat until after she was born. I had something very light to eat at 5:30am, because I had to be at the hospital at 7. Needless to say by the time Peanut was born around 3pm, I was a little beyond hungry. I remember sitting there and felt so dazed and unfocused, and did not want to hold my precious new baby. Thats when SNICKERS® came to the Rescue! Hubby pulled out a SNICKERS® Bar that he had and let me have it! That ONE SNICKERS® bar turned me from Zoned out Mombie to a New Mama wanting to hold her baby!
