When you search for Cloth Diaper Brands, it can be overwhelming.  There are so many different brands on the market, that it’s hard to know where to look first. That’s when I cam across GlowBug Cloth Diapers.  The wonderful people at GlowBug Sent me a Cloth Diaper for Peanut.  GlowBug1A little about GlowBug: Glow Bug Cloth Diaper’s design and philosophy are unique in the industry. Glow Bug Cloth Diapers are sold only in packages, as we believe that buying individual cloth diapers, just to “try them out,” is actually counterproductive and can get parents started on the wrong foot with their cloth diapering journey. We know that to assure success with cloth diapers, parents need to have an awesome design that gets the job done, have everything they need already included, and all the information. That’s what Glow Bug Cloth Diapers offers, and everything about our company is focused on those goals. (GlowBug)

One thing that I LOVED about Glowbug is that they sell their diapers in Group Packages.  That way you’re guaranteed a selection of amazing styles and a great price.  The Gender Neutral Pack is only 150.00 – and it comes with 12 Diapers and 18 Liners.

Features about Glow Bug Diapers:

    • Two sets of cross-over snaps through the waist band for a perfect fit around newborn tummies
    • Double rows of snaps with square tabs for a trim fit through the hip
    • 2 hip snaps to prevent “wing droop”Glowbug 3
    • Four size settings fitting babies from birth through potty training (7lbs-35lbs)
    • Coordinating coloured snaps for every print
    • Waterproof flaps in the front and the back of each diaper to prevent leaksGlowbug 5
    • NEW Revolutionary 360° Gusset™ design – 360 degrees of protection!
    • NEW SlimDry™ fabric keeps baby’s skin dry without the bulkGlowbug 4
    • Two openings in the pocket makes it easier to get the absorbent inset in and out
    • Snap-in inserts to keep it in place while baby’s on the move

I Love that these adjust all the way down to a small size – making it the perfect One Size Diaper.  Even though this diaper may not fit every newborn (lil C was only 6lbs), it does get down pretty small.  GlowBug even has a Chart on their site to tell you how to adjust the sizes. According to GlowBug, their smallest setting is good for a newborn who is 7-10lbs!  Oh I cant wait to put this fluff on peanuts tush! 😀

It is recommended that you wash your diapers before you ever use them on your little one.   Glowbug recommends that you use  Rockin Green Soap  or another non-residue soap for prepping the diapers.   By Washing the diapers before use, you’re prepping them.  It may take a few washes to get the diapers fully prepped – and ready to properly hold your lil ones’ pee. One tip to seeing if your diaper is fully prepped – If the water beads and/or runs, repeat the prepping process from the beginning with slightly less detergent until the dribbles go right into the diaper and insert.

You can purchase GlowBug Diapers in Gender Neutral, Boy or Girl Packages online.  Make sure to follow GlowBug on  Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest

This is a really cute diaper. I wish cloth diapers had been this easy and cute when my kids were little!

What cute fluff! We cloth diaper but I normally stick to flips and prefolds just because I HATE to stuff pockets and my kids are allergic to microfiber. I love the cover designs on all the pockets though and wish Flips would get some more fun prints!

I just found out we are expecting our first. I want to try to do cloth diapering at least part time to reduce waste and costs. I hope that I am successful in my attempts.

These look really nice. I like the idea of a whole package. Makes much more sense than buying a bunch of different kinds.

Cloth diapers have come such a long ways! It really seems doable now. I wonder if I get enough cloth diapers and inserts if I could get my daughter to use them with my granddaughter who will be here in late May.

I really appreciate your review of the GlowBug Cloth Diaper. My daughter-in-law is having her first baby and I am hoping to be able to give her some cloth diapers as a gift. She has said that she will be happy to try them and the GlowBug cloth diaper sounds and looks great. The fact that they grow with your baby is such a plus.

great review, I was looking into cloth diapering our son but since he was a surprise baby (“I didn’t know I was pregnant” kind of surprise lol) I didn’t have time to do all the research but definitely will be cloth diapering my second one.

I’m impressed with the four size settings fitting babies from birth through potty training and the number of snaps that help give the diaper a good fit so that there is less of a chance for accidents because it fits so well.
