All of my friends keep talking about these places you go and paint while you sip on wine. It is a fun night out and you come home with something that you can hang on the wall.  That sounds like a great thing, but I do not really have the time to go out, drive at least 30 minutes away and be gone for a night. While I definitely need down time too, it just seems like it would cause me more stress trying to coordinate it all. That is why I love Gifted Custom Art.

With Gifted Custom Art I am not painting something like a vase or a bowl of fruit, I can be painting a family portrait or a picture from my favorite vacation.  OK, so you say but I can’t paint. I know, me either. It doesn’t matter. First of all the canvas is a paint by number. That means it tells you exactly where to put the colors. Secondly, it comes with everything you need:  paint, brushes, easel and of course the paint by number canvas.

The Gifted Custom Art painting is on a 16”x 20” gallery wrapped canvas. Here are some tips of making sure you choose the perfect photo to use:

1) Make sure the photo is Well-lit; not dark or washed out
2) Clear; not grainy
3) High-resolution (having at least 1200 x 800 pixels will give the best results)
4) A photo that’s close up
5) A photo that features 1 or two people or pets.
6) Please make sure they are your own photos, and you have the rights to them.

I got to try out a custom print from Gifted Custom Art.  I was excited to get to painting the portrait that I chose.  I love that it is a paint by number.  I personally don’t have an eye for color and shadowing, nor can I freehand paint a straight line.  The photo that I chose was a little more intricate than I originally expected it to be.  So I am taking my time painting it, making sure that it turns out perfect!  I have found that doing a little  a day has been very therapeutic and relaxing!  I can’t wait to order another canvas to do!

Still skeptical? Watch this time lapse video of the process. It’s really that easy.
