Ultimate Wedding GuideI was always under the understanding that when it comes to your bridal party, it is a good idea to thank them with some type of gift. After all, they are putting up with all your craziness of getting your perfect wedding together. It is so easy to shop for the Groomsmen – You get them the typical Flasks, or Pocket Knives, Watches… Things that most youngsters wouldn’t really care too much to have. So when it comes to the youngsters in the group, what do you get them. Zondervan had the perfect solution. They sent me a set of the Berenstain Bear Books for my Ring Bear.

A little about the Zondervan Philosophy: Our eighty-year history as an evangelical Christian publisher is a trust we are committed to honor. Our Publishing Philosophy reflects this heritage and our desire to pursue excellence as we continue to serve the Church and seek to engage people outside the Church.

Zondervan BooksI grew up reading the Berenstain Bears Books.  They always had a great moral to each story.  And actually, my mom held onto all the books that I had and we passed them down to Lil C.  We read them Every night.  But it was getting to the point where we read each one over multiple times.  I have tried looking in our local stores, but there is a very minor selection.  So when I got to work with Zondervan on another project, I realized that they also Carried a large selection of Berenstain Bear Books.

Grantd, Lil C doesn’t realize that he’s learning new values and morals when we read through the stories. He thinks that they are just a story – but you can tell in his eyes that he is taking something away from each book.  “Show Some Respect” and “The Golden Rule” are two of the books that I really want him to learn from.   He is at the age where he thinks that he is in charge ALL the time, and where he thinks he can get away with anything.  Hopefully after reading about Brother and Sister in each situation, he will realize that It also applies to him.

I love the Bernstein Bears and this would make a good gift for a Ring Bearer in your wedding. I didn’t have a wedding either time, so I never had to come up with something!

How perfect and cute! “Ring Bear.” That’s a wonderful idea! I brought my children up on Berenstain Bear books. I love them and think they are a great gift for everyone even better when you can play on words like this.
