Peanut is SO active. With that being said, she’s always Hungry…. Wanting to snack on something between meals… Wanting to have dessert after dinner. She’s defiantly growing. So we have been trying to make sure that we have snacks on hand that she will like. I have found, though, if I let her pick out her snacks at the store, she is more likely to eat them. So on our last trip to Kroger, I let peanut pick out what she waned for snacks.
That’s when she spotted the Gerber® Lil’ Beanies(TM)!
I figured, “HEY! Why not!” We’ve always had good luck with Peanut liking Gerber products. And they appeared quite healthy! Did you know that Gerber® Lil’ Beanies(TM) has 2 grams of protein (9% Daily Value) and 1 gram of fiber per serving? So we grabbed one of each!
If you can’t tell, Peanut claimed them. They had to sit right next to her in the cart. They did tempt her a few times, but I kept telling her that we had to pay for them first before she could eat them! She did pout a bit, but in the end, she did wait until we got home to open them.

No matter how many times I put the lid back on the Gerber® Lil’ Beanies(TM), Peanut just goes and takes it off. This Mama is not going to complain. At least I know that she’s eating something that is healthier for her – and that she’s not trying to gravitate towards candy or sugar filled snacks.
