Vacuuming around this house has to be done CONSTANTLY! Especially having a dog and 3 kids… But no one seemed to want to do it. And I didn’t blame them. The upright vacuum we have is just so blasted big, bulky and heavy. So when Dyson sent me the V6 Absolute to try, the kids got a new chore.
The V6 Absolute is a cordless vacuum – which runs on a rechargeable battery. Just take it off the charging station when you need to vacuum and replace it when you’re done. We mounted the charging dock in the laundry room – That way it is out of everyone’s way. The slim design makes it a perfect fit for behind our door.

If you cant tell Peanut even love to attempt to help Vacuum. The whole Vacuum is to long for her, So while I vacuum the dog fur off of the couches, she takes it upon herself to vacuum the rest of the floor.
I love the Mini Motorized attachment they sent. This works perfectly on the couches (We have microfiber couches) Trust me, the main floor attachment DOES NOT work on couches. I tried, because peanut spilled a bunch of cracker crumbs on the couch while I was vacuuming the floor. It just stopped the vacuum from sucking. The Mini Motorized attachment is created to have just enough airflow to go between the vacuum and the attachment brush.
This is a typical 1 room bedroom cleaning with the Dyson V6 Absolute. It is just that time of year where my puppy loves to shed his fur. (He goes through weekly spurts every month with over-shedding).
We love how well the soft roller works on wood flooring. I teased my hubby that we got new laminate flooring just to test out the Soft Roller Cleaning Head. I love how light-weight and easy the Dyson V6 Absolute is to use. I’m not sure if I’ll ever want to go back to an upright Vacuum again. February 18 Update: Since we received this vacuum, it gets used on a daily basis. One thing that I have realized- if the Pre-filter isn’t in the vacuum, it doesn’t preform properly. And having a nosy 1 year old who likes to hide things, didn’t help our cleaning situation. Thankfully after playing hide and seek with the pre-filter, peanut has not taken it again. There has been no loss in suction even when using once or twice (sometimes 4 times a day) through the house.
