The hardest thing for young girls to overcome is peer pressure.  It is becoming more and more prevalent in the schools.  I remember being in elementary and middle school – I had my couple close friends – but other than that I was fairly shy.   That is why Discovery Girls produced a Magazine for the young ladies (ages 8-13).

About the Magazine:  Discovery Girls is a national magazine aimed at girls between the ages of 8 and 13. Our mission is to inspire and encourage girls to be more confident and resilient and help them deal with those difficult situations that all girls run into growing up. We give them advice and wholesome content addressing everything from peer pressure, to hairstyles, to future careers.

I had my friends Daughter help me review this magazine Set!  Being the fact that she’s 8 and has already started to experience the joys of growing up with peers!   Having a magazine that  features girls her age (in the rage of 8-13) make sit easier to her to relate.  And learn the self confidence and become able to overcome difficult situations that she will encounter as she grows up.
