Outback has once again teamed up with the Detroit Zoological Society for their Zoo Night.  With the Detroit Zoological Society Give Back Night Fundraiser, Outback Steakhouse will proudly donate 15% of your total check to the Detroit Zoo.  OUTBACK_LOGO
Just the other night hubby and I had the opportunity to take a visit to our local Outback Steakhouse.  It has been YEARS since I have been to an Outback.  We were greeted at the door with one of the staff holding the door open for us.  The manager was expecting us, so he was there to greet us and took us to our seats.  Then we met our waitress for the night, who has worked with the company for 10 years. She was very knowledgeable about all the foods and drinks that Outback offered – and even gave us a few tips on how they are there for the customer.
onionThe night started out with some of their mini loafs of bread and butter.   If you have never been to Outback Steakhouse, I have to Recommend the Bloomin’ Onion. Since it was only the two of us, we were unable to finish the whole Bloomin’ Onion, so we took some to go.  Our waitress was even kind enough to give us reheating instructions,  Something I have never had a waiter/waitress do before.

I ordered Ribs with Garlic Mashed Potatoes, and Hubby ordered the Steak and Shrimp with potatoes.  The whole night was extremely relaxing, even Peanut enjoyed herself.   She was eyeing daddy’s food all night.
