Now that I have more time to sit down and eat as a family – we have been trying our hand at cooking different meals. Some are just for my hun and myself and others are for the whole family.  I recently received a bundle of Pork from American Premium Meats – which included some delicious looking pork chops.   It’s been a LONG time since I had any – Look at how they turned out.Pork-Chop-2Warm your pan and coat it with either Oil, Spray or Butter. My guy is a butter fanatic, so he tends to use butter to grease the pan.
Season your pork chops with Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Pepper and a little Salt.  I LOVE Garlic, so we tend to go a little heavier on the garlic.
Place your pork chops in the pan and season the other side.
We are using Pork from American Premium Meats (they are hormones, steroids, and artificial growth stimulant free)Pork-Chop-1Brown both sides evenly.  We flip it a couple times to make sure it doesn’t burn.
While it is cooking – You can make your side dish.  We chose Mashed Potatoes.  For those who don’t have time to make their own, You can use instant Potatoes.
Otherwise, Peel your potatoes – Cut them into chunks.  Place in a pot and heat.  Add in milk and butter and mix. (I use an electric hand mixer).
Add in milk until you reach your desired consistency.

Pork Chop 4

Being something new for us to cook – we cut into the meat just to make sure that it was cooked all the way through.

Pork-Chop-3

Overall the meal only took about 30 minutes to cook from start to end.  Very simple and Very Delicious.   Pair it up with a great side salad and you have a quick and healthy meal.

*I received a pork bundle from American Premium Meats to help me facilitate this meal. All opinions are 100% my own.

We love pork chops. I never used American Premium Meats before. It looks like a product we’d appreciate. I usually partially pan fry til browned on both sides and then let them cook in the oven for the rest of the time. Thank you for sharing!

You should make Cokacola pork chops. Salt and pepper, put in a casseral pan, mix 1 cup coke and 1 cup catchup (stir slowley so you still have carbonation), pour mixture on top, sprinkle brown sugar on top, throw in the oven until done.

We love porkshops – I like your recipe although we use applejuice to deglaze the pan and let it reduce to make a gravy…delish.

I do what I call a micro-mash potato.I bake them in the microwave and after they’ve cooled a bit simply peel the skin and mash. It’s so much easier.

I usually do chops in the oven. I haven’t pan fried them in awhile. I think I’ll try that tonight. Just for a change.

My go to recipe for chops is from Pioneer Woman — a bit unhealthy, but perfectly done, every time! (it should be the first result on a google search)

These look yummy. I love pork chops and garlic but since I’m the only one in my family that does I don’t make them, but when I go out to dinner I get them if they are on the menu.

I like simple meat recipes like these. Looks very tasty and I wouldn’t mind eating that right now. My mom always made cinnamon sugared applesauce to have on the side when we ate pork and it was very good.

I rarely eat pork, though I love it. A easy recipe is to take 4 pork chops and three cans of mushroom soup, put in a oven dish and cook at 400 for 45 minutes. Then add a can of green beans to the top – cook another 10 minutes and add dried onions on top for 5 or less minutes!

That sounds good..but…. I have some family me members that don’t like mushroom… can you use other cream of soups? Like cream of celery.

We love pork and I usually make a pork roast because it leaves me with leftovers however you cannot beat a nicely fried pork chop. I like to serve them with mac and cheese and a salad. Delish
