I arrived in New York on Thursday – and did the basic check in then started running around.   I did this until 6pm, when the Expo started.   This is where I got to meet many of the brands that sponsored BlogHer and to make a few connections.  I got to see new products…. and yes, for those who are curious, there was swag at some of these tables.  But I was on a mission to find certain booths -because I know there I would be able to try new products.  One booth that I was looking for was the Dannon Booth.  I knew there, they were going to be showing us the new Light & Fit Products – the Light & Fit Greek.

I found them in the Center of the Expo – on the first floor.  I loved the little set up that they had. There were some lovely – and well informed ladies all standing behind a counter, ready to let you try the newest product.  I choose to try the Light & Fit Greek yogurt – because  I have never tried a Greek yogurt, but I knew I loved the Light & Fit Strawberry line.  This has the Classic Light & Fit Strawberry taste, with a hint of the Greek taste.  When I first opened the yogurt, I just saw white, but after sticking a spoon to the bottom, I found the rich yummy strawberry flavoring.
Here are some of the fun facts about the Dannon Light & Fit Yogurt:

  • 80 Calories per 5.3oz
  • 0% Fat
  • 2X the protein of regular lowfat yogurt (Contains 14% more of the DV of protein (7g) than regular lowfat yogurt)
  • Available in Strawberry, Blueberry, Cherry, and Vanilla
  • 4-pack MSRP: $3.99

Dannon also had a Special Breakfast for some of us lucky bloggers.  At this breakfast, not only did they have single serve yogurts, but they also did have different breakfast items that you could easily make.  My favorite item that they served was their breakfast muffin.  Breakfast is the most important meal of the day – and many of us, like myself, are guilty of skipping it.  Some people believe they have no time others believe that it’s not as important as lunch.   But in all truth – if your body doesn’t get the jump start of fuel that breakfast offers, you tend to drag through the rest of the day.   Breakfast doesn’t have to be complicated.  It can be as simple as grabbing a Yogurt and go.  Or for those weekend days where you don’t have to be at work or those days that you are able to just lounge around, you can make a batch of muffins or a stack of pancakes (I did make sure to grab that recipe before I left the breakfast.  Our family Loves Pancakes).

Have you tried any of the Dannon Products?  What are some of your favorite flavors?

I have partnered with Dannon to help promote Light & Fit Greek.  I have been compensated for my time commitment to review the product.  However, my opinions are entirely my own and I have not been paid to publish positive comments.
