Over the years I have noticed that my teeth have become more and more sensitive.  I originally thought it was because of cavities, but even after having a root canal done, I still noticed it.  I was told that with a Root canal, the nerves in the tooth were gone, so that should not be causing any discomfort … And I didn’t have any other cavities anywhere…So I had to just deal with Sensitive Teeth.  I was sent a package of Crest Sensi-Stop for my sensitive teeth.crest

A little about Crest Sensi-Stop: Crest® Sensi-Stop™ Strips are thin, flexible strips that contain an active ingredient used by dental professionals. Unlike toothpaste, Crest® Sensi-Stop™ Strips are applied directly to sensitive areas, providing targeted delivery of the key ingredient that allows for longer contact time on the surface of the tooth. Within minutes, strips build a lasting barrier that helps stop sensitivity pain by blocking tubules, relieving symptoms of dental sensitivity for up to 30 days .crest-Sensi-stop

I know some of the things that trigger my teeth being sensitive.  For example, Anything that is ICE cold will just hit my tooth the right way, and hurt all the way down into my jaw.  So I tend to stay away from Ice Cubes and things along those lines.  But it doesn’t help when the weather changes.  Living in Michigan, we have chilly falls and winters (well, I think they are Freezing, but that’s a whole other story).   Michigan weather is something that my Teeth can not get away from.  So I have tried the Sensi-Stop Strips.  One thing that I like is that it is a strip that I apply directly to the tooth and gum line. Since most of my sensitivity is on my bottom left “K9” tooth, I am able to place a strip on that target area.  But if you do have more than one spot that is sensitive, you can always use another strip.    After letting it sit for 10 minutes, I put it to the test…. I threw on a light weight jacket and went outside and opened my mouth and let the cool Fall air hit my tooth.  I noticed that it didn’t sting nearly as much as it did before.  According to the package 1 strip will give you 1 month of relief.

If you have sensitive teeth, You are going to want to try the Crest Sensi-Stop Strips.  You can purchase Crest Sensi-Stop Strips at your local retailers (such as Target, Walmart and CVS) or You can find Crest Sensi-Stop Strips on Amazon.com.  Make sure to take a moment to Like Crest on Facebook
