I have seen so many commercials on the television about this pan or that pot and how they are better than all the rest. I typically chuckled inside, thinking that there’s no way that a pan can do what it claims…that the videos had to be edited, these pans couldn’t clean as easy as they said they would. So when the wonderful people at Copper Chef sent me a pan to try myself, I knew that I was going to put it to the test.
A little about the Copper Chef:
The Copper Chef is a Multi-Purpose, non-stick square pan. This one pan replaces all your others: your stock pot, rice cooker, baking pan, frying pan, wok, and roasting pan. It’s revolutionary square design and deep sides give you more room to cook. It gives upto 25% more cooking space than a traditional non-stick round pan. The Copper Chef features Cerami-Tech Non-stick technology. This technology allows you to cook anything without having to add oils, grease or butter. Its innovative stainless steel induction technology allows the pan to distribute heat rapidly to all the corners of this pan, allowing you to cook all your food evenly
Our Thoughts on the Copper Chef
At first I was quite skeptical. A pan that does everything… AND that is easy to clean up. No way. So I have spent the past month and half using the Copper Chef a majority of the week… And, I am proud to say… It has done all that it has claimed to do! I thought for sure, when I made the Spicy Cheeseburger Dip, that it was going to take forever to clean, that the cheese was going to be STUCK to the bottom of the pan. Instead, it came off with just a push of the spatula I was using. Even without washing, I got almost all of it off the pan.
Have I mentioned that I have spent months trying to find something that sticks to the bottom of this pan? So, the Cheese didn’t stick… But what about sugar. The other night we made pork chops with a brown sugar glaze. I even let the brown sugar cook in the pan to create a hard crust, Still no match to the pan!
