Mothers Day is a pretty special day in my book. The past few years Mothers Day has fallen around the same time as my wedding anniversary. This year was completely different. This Mothers Day was completely a day to itself. And what a great way to celebrate this great day – than with a book from the Chicken Soup for the Soul Collection

A great gift for Mother’s Day.
After reading this book, I still have a great appreciation for my son. But I do hope that one day I will be able to have a mother – daughter bond like some of those shared in this particular book. There are just some things that a mother and daughter can do – that most mothers and sons cant. For example. One story that I truly loved was about a mother who was going to a party with her husband – and she allowed her daughter to do her makeup. Just the way they could bond over a simple task such as putting on eye shadow and lip gloss – One day I will have that.
