The start of the Holidays has just began! And I was lucky to be able to spend Thanksgiving with the people that mean the most to me – My Family.  You cant go to a Family Holiday Dinner without trying new wines. This year I was able to bring a wine for us to all have with California Wine Club.

 California Wine Club is a monthly wine club smaller, award-winning wineries whose wines are not typically found in local stores or wine shops.

A Little From The CA Wine Club Site: For years Pam and I were frustrated trying to find truly great wine. Selecting a decent bottle of wine from thousands of pretty labels with prices ranging from $5-$35 was difficult at the best of times. We were always happiest with wine recommendations from friends.  So, that’s what we wanted to do with The California Wine Club. A wine of the month club is just like “one friend recommending a great bottle of wine to another friend”.

This year I got to sample a Great selection of wines – including the amazing wines that I was sent through California Wine Club.   This months shipment was sent all wrapped – ever so pretty for the holidays!  It feltlike Christmas was coming early!

I received a Beautiful Red Merlot and a White Chenin Blanc.

We’ve tasted Merlot before, but the Chenin Blanc is completely new to myself – and most all of my family. I was pleasantly surprised on the sweet taste that this offered.  These were served at room temperature, and they were amazing.  I am pretty sure if they were chilled a little, there would have been an even more pleasant taste!    

California Wine Club has brought many families together – including mine.  Their philosophy of sharing a wine with your friends is quite true – through and through.  The Merlot will be what is served at Christmas Dinner – another great wine to be shared among family and friends.
