Babies heads are very sensitive.  Their soft hair does need to be brushed… and if he or she has cradle cap… Then gentle cleaning and brushing can help.  That is why Bean-B-Clean has been produced.

A little about the Bean-B-Clean:  The Bean-B-Clean is a super-gentle yet effective small scalp massaging brush that cleans away the crustiness and flakes associated with cradle cap for good. Just wet baby’s head with warm water, massage a small amount (about 1 teaspoon) of your favorite oil (baby, olive, vegetable) into baby’s scalp, then apply gentle pressure while massaging with the Bean-B-Clean brush. Your baby is now on the way to being cradle cap free! The Smaldores launched Smaldore Associates, a GrandMom and GrandPop business to bring their Bean-B-Clean invention to the thousands of infants facing the same cradle cap crisis and to ease their parents’ tensions over getting rid of it.

I have had a chance to try the Bean-B-Clean.  I can see how this would be a great solution to cradle cap.  It is easy to use, and inexpensive.  The brush  part of this features soft but sturdy bristles. When you combine this with shampoo or oil – give the best overall results. I tried this on  a patch of psoriasis that I have … and i was happy to say it was soft enough to not crack through the skin, but strough enough to get under some of the flaky crust.   I love how you can find Bean-B-Clean on Amazon.com.  This is one item that I think I will be putting in any upcoming baby showers…. Not only is it good for cradle cap, but just to brush a babies fine hair as well as giving the ‘lil one a soothing massage.
