Good suggestions for baby shower gifts. It’s always a good idea to have a “wish list”–even “essentials” change over time so some of us old timers or those of us without children don’t know what is considered an essential these days.

Some great recommendations! Something I found really important as well as a breastfeeding mother was to have some really comfortable and good quality breastfeeding bras!
Yes! My granddaughter is 6 months, and I am constantly buying things for her (one step ahead of Mom & Dad who have enough to deal with because they also have 4 boys!). New products are popping up all the time that make mom’s lives easier!

Great list, thank you! I didn’t even think beforehand that such a small baby needs so much stuff! Even though we’ve prepared quite a lot of clothing and other essentials – we still had to purchase like twice of what we initially expected, haha! My wife couldn’t resist buying too much of those cute little shirts and pants too but well, what can you do about it? I couldn’t hold myself as well! Our friends are trying to scare us now that we have to expect a lot more to come in the next years when the baby starts to outgrow clothes even quicker!
