I know when babies are born, they love to be Swaddled. That’s one of the first things that they showed us when I had Lil C.  There’s just something about being wrapped up warm and cozy keeps them calm.  Just trying to find the right material can always be a little challenging.  I have heard a lot about Muslin, and was excited to try it.  Aura Weavers sent me a set of Muslin Blankets for us to swaddle peanut in.Aura-Weavers-a

A little about Aura Weavers:  ” From the beginning, I swaddled my son using muslin blankets. Not just I, but all my friends were amazed to see how he slept through the night swaddled cozily in his favorite blanket from when he was barely two months old.  The love and passion I have invested over the last two years is Aura Weavers. Our muslin blankets are the most breathable and stretchable, in cute and chic colors, tested by friends, nurses and doulas.   Auraweavers is the result of bringing together the tradition of swaddling, finest muslin fabric and stylish prints. A well rested baby keeps mommy happy and stress-free. But it’s also important for the baby’s development. As a new mother, it’s your turn now – to give your baby the perfect swaddle – with Aura Weavers” (Aura Weavers)AuraWeaversAura Weavers sent me the Little Miss Posh Organic Set for Peanut.  One thing that I noticed when these arrived was the softness of the patterns.  They weren’t overly loud in color. It was refreshing seeing the soft sweet patterns that they offered.   The two patterns that were in my set was the Pretty Dahlia and the Sweet Birdie.  After opening the package, I realize how soft Muslin was.  Not only is it soft, but it is very light weight and breathable.  This feature allows air to circulate through the material – and reduces the risk of you little one overheating.  This is very important, because after a baby is born, they aren’t able to regulate their own body temperature.

Not only can you use the Aura Weavers Swaddles to wrap the baby up in, but you can also us it as a nursing cover, security blanket, stroller or car seat shade, play mat and much more

Make sure to take a moment to head over to AuraWeaver and check out their line of Swaddling Blankets. The Organic   Also, make sure to take a moment to follow Aura Weavers on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest.

I have been reading a lot about the benefits of swaddling your babies. Some of the swaddlers seemed hot and heavy to me but these muslin blankets would keep the baby comfortable. After reading your review, I do think muslin would be the correct choice for swaddling.

When I had my daughter I had a hard time finding breathable, lightweight swaddles that were cool enough to use here in Hawaii, and big enough to actually swaddle a baby in (most I found were too small or not the right shape). These look lovely!

I visited the Aura Weavers website wanting to see the muslin swaddles in patterns and colors for boys. I found several and decided that I liked the Muslin Swaddles – Beep N’ Buzz. They would be so cute for my soon to be born grandson.
