Every year for the holidays, my mom would put up a wreath…She would use one of the over the door hangers. This hanger is BRIGHT RED…and when you have a darker color wood, it STANDS out. For any of you who haven’t heard, I have been on the look out for a home of my own. And I would love to be able to keep the tradition of hanging a wreath at my doorway on the holidays….but I really prefer to not have a Large Thick Red hanger… And Honestly, until I find the exact place I will be moving into, I am not sure If I will even be able to use a hanger. So when I heard about Zip n’ Hang I knew I had to try it out.The story behind Zip n’ Hang: Zip ‘n Hang Solutions LLC was founded in 2010, but I invented this product in 2007. The reason that I came up with it was that we bought a beautiful new front door with stained glass in it and I couldn’t hang my wreath. I bought a suction cup wreath holder and it fell off after a few hours. I bought the over-the-door wreath hangers, but the plastic ones were too thick and my door wouldn’t close and the metal ones barely closed, scratching up my door frame. After all this frustration, I finally figured out a way to hang wreaths by experimenting with fishing line and then decided to bring the product to the masses since I knew so many other people fighting the same problem. I loved the concept behind this hanger. It is easy to apply and it blends in great with the wall/door. The zip n hang straps are not thick – nor are they a solid color (like a bright red) so they do take close to the shade of the door behind it. And if you are not like me, you don’t have to use it to hang wreaths… You can use one behind your bedroom door to hang a freshly pressed dress or suit…. or you can use it to hang a shoe bag. And when you are done using it in one room, you can just simply move it to another room – or put it away in your holiday decorations box.
