I grew up in a household that did not have a dishwasher. So after every dinner, we’d wash dishes from that day… And get this… We used a Sponge or a wash rag. It defiantly took a few minutes to do so… But at least we knew our dishes were clean and put away. Then when I got married, the house we lived in had a dish washer.. And I slowly got spoiled. That dishwasher ran every night – because there were so many of us eating dinner together… So when I moved out and it was just lil C and I, a dish washer was ALMOST useless. It would take us at least 5 days to make it worth running for 1 load (and that was if we cooked food that used more than one cooking utensil). So when I didn’t feel like washing dishes by hand, I just loaded them in to the dishwasher and hoped that We’d fill it before too long. Then we moved again. This time we combined homes with my fiancee. He has a dishwasher too… Can you see I’m spoiled again? Being a family of 4 sometimes and a family of 3 sometimes, we run the dishwasher a little more often….
So the other night, we had Macaroni and Cheese… You know how that gets Sticky all over the plates…. and Pots….Huge mess huh?
So We loaded the dishwasher (Woot Woot, it was Stuffed Full this time)
Followed the directions on the back of the package… And placed this cute little tablet in the Dish soap dispenser ….
And Voila! Clean dishes! Who doesn’t love a pan that shines (especially after having noodles and cheese caked on to them). Originally I would just use Cascade liquid… And then because when I needed dish soap … And the store was out of stock, I went to using the Cascade Powder. But I think from now on I am going to start looking for the Cascade Platinum Tabs!
