While at BlogHer, I got to attend a Spill Spa. What is that you ask? It is where us ladies got treated to a few spa essentials and got to learn about treating Spills and got to learn even more about a great carpeting. “Relax, it’s…Lees” was the highlight of the day! And I was super excited to know that a rug would be coming to my house to try out.
From Carpet One: Our Ambassador collection represents a big (and comfortable!) step forward in carpeting technology. Eco-friendly Triexta fibers offer superior stain resistance without use of topical treatments, and a tone-on-tone square pattern brings stylish dimension to your floors. The perfect combination of beauty and worry-free toughness, Lees® carpet is backed by the exclusive “No Exclusions” Ultra 25® Stain Warranty which covers stains other carpet warranties don’t: pet stains, grease, mustard, coffee, cola and more.
I live in a Condo house with 2 pets and a 5 year old. You can only imagine the spills and mess that gets created in my house. I figured that the perfect place to test out this Great rug would be in our kitchen. My kitchen is fairly open and I have always had a thin cloth rug laying down on the floor just to keep it a ‘lil warmer on our feet. Besides the living room, this is the second most used area. And probably the highly spilled upon area! Oye! the things my floor has been graced with! So, after testing out this rug on the floor for a few weeks… I am pleased to say – there are NO STAINS! And my cat and dog have found a mutual place to lay the whole time I’m in the kitchen – Especially when I’m cooking! So it’s like a maze when I go from the stove to the sink or to the table… Never fails – my pups, makes sure he gets to try dinner before we get to eat it! And he licks it clean from the rug, and you’d never know where it fell! And besides the awesome stain resistance qualities this has, My favorite feature is the fact that this rug is Very soft under my feet. I don’t mind when I am standing at the sink doing dishes, I just inch the rug closer to the sink (instead in the middle of the floor) and my feet are in heaven!
This has become a permanent accessory in my kitchen.
