Even though I’m in my 20’s I still have acne, plus I have psoriasis. And it drives me insane. I have tried a few different face washes and ointments, but nothing seemed to work. Then that’s when I heard about Hazelwood.
A little about Hazelwood: The use of hazelwood jewelry originated long ago when Aboriginal people discovered that they could put hazelwood chips on their babies’ necks to soothe teething pains. This lost art was revived only a decade ago when a few companies in Quebec, Canada (where the hazelwood trees grow indigenously) rediscovered the unique properties of hazelwood. Since then hazelwood has grown in popularity as more and more people have experienced its benefits. Most notably, Hazelwood has been able to help many people with skin issues such as eczema, providing a natural alternative to many of the more expensive, intensive, and messy treatments. (Hazelaid)
I have had the opportunity to try a Hazelaid necklace. At first, I was skeptical. Even after a few days of wearing it, I didn’t think that anything was different… But it was. My face did clear up slightly, it wasn’t a HUGE drastic overnight change, but it was a change. I also loved the fact that the Hazelaid necklace doesn’t look like a “treatment” necklace. I loved the Amethyst stones and the hazel wood combination. It was unique looking – and it went with almost anything that I wore. And I didn’t have to worry about taking it off when I went in the shower – because being moist helps the wood absorb the acidity from your body.
*I received a necklace from Hazel Aid in exchange for this review. All opinions expressed are 100% my own.
