I had the pleasure of emailing back and forth with a few of the great ladies over at MIM toys. I learned a great deal about the company. Did you know that they were originalliy from Grand Rapids? Another great company that has originated from Michigan! When she arrived, she was wrapped ever so gently in her sleeping bag. I love the fact that they are trying to cut down on cardboard use (not saying they wont use cardboard, but they reserve it for specific items). The MIM doll comes originally with Short Dark hair and a pink and purple outfit. You can choose different eyes and Hair and outfits to customize her to be the way you would like. I picked the Fashion Diva outfit, Long Brown Hair and Metallic Hazel Eyes. When it came to changing the hair and eyes on my MIM Doll, I found it super easy. Her hair was a little hard to get to stay on – when i was using the shorter hair wig… but the long hair seemed to fall right into place on her head! Taking the time to change her outfit and noticing how she is so pose-able, just took me back to my child hood years – and when I played with dolls. I have the perfect person in mind for this doll. Since I have received my MIM doll, they have come out with a few other skin tones! Now, this is the perfect gift for any young lady!
