I grew up always with carpeting… and having something softer under my feet when I walked. So when I moved into my Townhouse, I knew I had to find the perfect rug to match my home. I searched all over, but I knew I always had sticker shock when I started to just Look at rugs. It seemed that I could never find a decent size area rug – unless I wanted to pay a minimum of 300.00… That is until I started looking at some of my favorite stores like Lowes and Target. That is where I fell in love with Mohawk Rugs – and I was amazed at the great prices they offered.

I recently have had the chance to receive a Mohawk Rug for review. I dont think I have ever been so excited to see the FedEx truck arrive at my parents house!!! I searched through many rugs and Finally Found the Perfect one. The colors in my living room are all in brown tones. My walls are a light tan. I have a chocolate brown loveseat and a golden tan recliner. So when I saw the Multi Block Shag Rug – I knew It would be perfect. It has the same tones that my furnature has, plus it also has a little bit of dark red – as an accent color. This rug totally gave my room a life of its own. Before I got it, My living room felt like it was missing life… Even though I had furniture, there was still too much hard surfaces, so it kept echoing when my son would talk. One I was able to lay it down on the floor – it gave my home a new feel. It actually made it feel like a home….Not just a place I am just living at. It is amazing how 1 thing can just make a place feel so much warmer. I have had this rug for a month now – and it still has the New Rug feel. I still love window shopping for area rugs.
