I don’t want to forget…

I don’t want to forget the feeling of Finding out that we were pregnant.
I don’t want to forget the excitement of my first OB appointment to make it official.
I don’t want to forget hearing the baby’s heartbeat for the first time.

I don’t want to forget seeing my unborn child on an ultrasound for the first time.
I don’t want to forget the exhaustion of the first trimester.
I don’t want to forget the good days and bad days

I don’t want to forget watching my belly grow day by day
I don’t want to forget the first butterfly feeling in my stomach.
I don’t want to forget the excitement of finding out if we were having a boy or a girl.

I don’t want to forget how excited the kids were when we told them
I don’t want to forget the monthly, then the bi-weekly, then the weekly doctor appointments.
I don’t want to forget watching my little one grow on the ultrasound the last 2 months.
I don’t want to forget how disappointed I was when I found out baby wasn’t in the right position anymore
I don’t want to forget the excitement of knowing that baby was in the right position for delivery.

I don’t want to forget the nervousness of going in the day he was to be born.
I don’t want to forget knowing that they were going to start pitocin.
I don’t want to forget my water breaking.
I don’t want to forget the pain of the contractions.
I don’t want to forget the nurses that were there to hold me and help me through.
I don’t want to forget how much it hurt when he was crowning
I don’t want to forget being able to feel his head and his shoulders and his butt being delivered.
I don’t want to forget hearing his first cry.
I don’t want to forget him being placed on my chest
I don’t want to forget cutting his cord.
I don’t want to forget holding him in my arms, and being filled with love….

I don’t want to forget being Pregnant, but I’m afraid I will.

That is what is so hard. I felt the same way when I was pregnant it took me like 4 years and miscarriage to get pregnant with him. I did not want to forget it. I wish someone had told me to take more pictures. You feel so bloated you dont feel like taking them but believe me you are going to want to see them later on. My big advice DONT BE SHY and

With my 1st I never did bump shots – so the only photos I have are from my baby shower.
