“Gifted” in Movie Theaters April 7 – and Giveaway

There are so many movies out there, but how many of them have wholesome meanings.  Gifted comes out on April 7th, and I can’t wait to see it.  Even though, like others, I have only seen the trailer for it, I realize it is a movie that has a story.  A beautiful story of Love – and holding ones promise.  Like Mary said “he wanted me before I was smart.”

A little about the movie:
Frank Adler (Chris Evans) is a single man raising a child prodigy – his spirited young niece Mary (Mckenna Grace) – in a coastal town in Florida.  Frank’s plans for a normal school life for Mary are foiled when the seven-year-old’s mathematical abilities come to the attention of Frank’s formidable mother Evelyn (Lindsay Duncan) whose plans for her granddaughter threaten to separate Frank and Mary.  Octavia Spencer plays Roberta, Frank and Mary’s landlady and best friend.  Jenny Slate is Mary’s teacher, Bonnie, a young woman whose concern for her student develops into a connection with her uncle as well.

Whether you’re looking for a movie to watch with older kids, something for date night, a chick flick, or just feel like you want to see a little bit more “good” in the world lately (don’t we all!)
