The weather this spring has been pleasantly warm – especially for Michigan. Even though summer is not officially here, the weather is making everyone think of what Summer means to them – No School and swimming in the pool.  That means new swimsuits for everyone.    Biscotti and Kate Mack sent Peanut a swimsuit for this summers fun.  Peanut received the Kate Mack “Making Waves” 1 piece bathing suit.

The Making Waves Swimsuit is a nautical inspired “tank-style” swimsuit.  It is Dark navy in color with a white Polka Dots print.  It even has a matching white bow on the front – which makes it look ADORABLE on the kids.  The neck is a halter style, that is adjustable to fit properly around your little ones neck. Per the website, it is made from an 80% nylon/20% spandex blend and the lining is 100% polyester.

Making-Waves-Swimsuit-2This swimsuit meets the certified UPF rating of -UPF 50+.   That is music to this mama’s ears.  If you’re not sure what a UPF rating is- it is the Ultraviolet Protection Factor rating system.  It measures the UV protection provided by fabric.   A UPF of 50 means that only 1/50th of the UV radiation falling on the surface of the garment can pass through the fabric.  Just another things that companies are doing for our children to protect their skin.  But make sure that when you and your little one are out in the sun – no matter for how long – that you do put some type of UV protection on their arms, legs and faces!

I love the back of this swimsuit.  The little keyhole cutout is absolutely my favorite.  I also love the fact that you don’t have to constantly tie the halter neck – it is a hook loop style closure.  Peanut is typically in a size 2/2T  in regular clothes.  In the Kate Mack swimwear, she is wearing a size 2.  It is a perfect fit. Making- Waves-Swimsuit-1If you’re looking for the perfect swimwear for your little girl this year, make sure to check out Biscoti and Kate Mack.

Discliamer:  We received the swimsuit above in exchange for our honest opinion. All thoughts expressed are 100% our own.
