Motherhood is not always the easiest.  Trying to figure out what brings happiness is not always the easiest.   But Gerber has you covered.  I have teamed up with Gerber to share the #FormulaForHappiness initiative with you.   And it started with Gerber creating their Gerber® Good Start® Infant Formulas are now all Non-GMO.  They are NOT made with genetically engineered ingredients. I’m not saying that specifically Non-GMO products are better than others, but Gerber has listened to the evolving preferences of formula using parents.   That’s one way to make us mommy’s happy.

Since recently Becoming a MOSTLY Stay At Home Mom, I have really learned how important Happiness is.   Trust me, if peanut isn’t happy, then no one is happy ….  If you didn’t notice in the picture above, She was not really happy to see Santa.  Oye, did that make our dinner with the hubby’s family ….. ummm… Interesting… to say the least.  Over the past couple months I have realized a few things that has helped with our #FormulaForHappiness.
Gerber-31.  She needs  a routine:  Every morning she wakes about the same time.  We take big brother to school, pop into my job for an hour to hour and half, come home relax, then lunch and nap at 1130.  From there, she determines how long she naps for, and then we just enjoy the afternoon/evening.    And if bedtime isn’t between 8:15 and 8:45, then the night is quite crazy.
2.  Peanut LOVES Curious George:  We have books and we have it on Netflix.  She will Look at her “Curious” book over and over and over, but she wont let me read it yet to her.  She wants her “Curious” all to herself.  One day… I’ll be able to get to read the books to her
3. Including her in your every day tasks.    I have learned how much she loves to “help”.  Well, sometimes her HELPING is more like UNDOING, but it is worth it.  Especially to see the smile on her face – when she thinks that she is doing something good.

Gerber-1

This brings happiness – not only to myself, but also to Mr & Mrs Claus.  I wonder what she’s going to get under the tree.

If you’re a formula feeding mom, how do you like Gerber’s new Non-GMO formula?  What is your Formula for Happiness?

I used formula for my first two children and didn’t think about GMO’s possibly being in them. That is scary! So glad Gerber is going GMO-Free 🙂
