But I did take Thanksgiving to be my cheat day. I started off with my Nutrisystem breakfast, but from there, it was all Home cooked food. The one thing that threw me off the most was my meal times. On an average day I’ll eat breakfast at 8, Lunch at 1 and dinner around 6, and then my 2 in between “snacks” (as i call them)… So it ends up that I’m eating something every couple hours. But Thanksgiving…. Not so much. Dinner was at 2 – and as you can see we had a feast. So I took into account all healthy “portion” sizes…. and loaded up on salad and veggies first, and then added my meats – and then tried keeping lower on the carbs.
