Andersons Angels was recently was given the opportunity to try out Duracell’s new Quantum alkaline batteries. Hear what she has to say about the Duracell Quantum Alkaline Batteries:
“One thing that my family does through a lot of is batteries. With our carbon monoxide detectors, cameras, wii remotes, TV remote and lots of the kids toys taking batteries we really need ones that will last. That is why I was excited to try out Duracell’s newest long lasting batteries.
“One thing that my family does through a lot of is batteries. With our carbon monoxide detectors, cameras, wii remotes, TV remote and lots of the kids toys taking batteries we really need ones that will last. That is why I was excited to try out Duracell’s newest long lasting batteries.
When I heard about Duracell Quantum, I really wanted to try them out. They say that they are longer lasting than any other alkaline battery and with us always going through batteries I wanted to see for myself.
- Duracell Quantum, with its Hi-Density Core™ that stores more power than ever before, is the single solution for all household needs from remote controls to kid’s toys.
- Duracell Quantum features PowerCheck on the battery cell so you will always know how much power is left in the battery – so nothing is wasted!
I currently have these batteries in our wii remotes and my camera because they seem to go through batteries the fastest in our home. My favorite feature of these batteries has to be the PowerCheck. I love that you are able to see how much of a charge the battery still has left so no guessing if its about to give out or not. Also my being able to check the batteries life you don’t have to worry about throwing a good battery out on accident so no more throwing of your money away. “
Duracell was gracious enough to donate 1 million of these powerful batteries to first responders across the country to help protect our families.
One of our lucky readers will win a 20 pack of AA Duracell Quantum batteries.

A soul toucher for certain! I spent most of three years of my early childhood in and out of a Florida Shriner’s children’s hospital, and I made several friends there who had been badly burned in home fires. Their stories and injuries left me with a horror of fire, and to me all first responders, and fire fighters in particular, are bona fide heroes no matter who they are! Hurrah for Duracell for acknowledging them!
Typing through the tears in my eyes. The firefighters in this video and in all rescue efforts are awesome and we are blessed to have them.
wow, what a video and I was so glad when you saw a heartbeat for the baby. Surely an eye opener

Ahh what a touching video! loved watching it!
I loved the video… so very touching! 🙂
What a blessing. Firefighters are truly amazing and it is very touching.
This video is the scariest one I think I’ve ever seen. I don’t know of anyone in my life, parent or not whom would not be terribly afraid of the possible outcome.
great video, i like how they made it so meaningful!
That was a very moving story. Thanks for share it with us.
Daylight Saving Time ends on Sunday, November 3, 2013. Announcements are made to change the batteries in your smoke detectors when you change the time on your clocks. The outcome on this video was victorious where others are not. Everyone should be trained in CPR because you never know when you might have to use it.
Tim McGraw signing the boot was pretty cool. Who would have thought that being saved as a child would give you an opportunity like that in the future.
Very moving – I appreciate the efforts of all emergency responders. And Tim McGraw – yum.
I love to honor our firefighters!
I really think we under appreciate the efforts of our heroes… the firefighters and other emergency responders. What a touching video.
It is amazing that they are giving away 1 million of their batteries to first responders!
I couldn’t help but fight back tears on that. So touching. I loved that video.
