So, Shopping at Walmart gave me a TON of ideas for this Party… And it all started in the Patio Section! Until then, I had no where to sit when it was nice outside. So I figured this would be a great way to make the most of the day! Then Went to look for Foods to serve and activities to do! I LOVE shopping at Walmart – it is a One -Stop Shop for me!
After arriving home, It was time to prepare dinner. Being the Fourth of July, the whole family got togeher for dinner. We had Sloppy Joes, Corn on the Cob, Chips and FRESH Grown Cucumbers from the garden (They always taste much better when they are fresh). What a great way to start a great holiday! And it was going to end even better. Us Ladies were going to relax and have a Girls Night In.
After dinner was done, we got to serve desert. It LOOKED DELICIOUS! But, I am trying Really hard to watch what I eat (I have a few pounds more to loose before I goto BlogHer) I just shared my piece with my son. (I couldn’t get a picture quick enough before everyone dug in!).
After a Belly Filling Dinner and a Sweet tooth Desert, the guys went their separate ways and us ladies got to sit there and watch Mirror Mirror. To celebrate this movie, Everyone got a Waterbottle with some cute Mirror Mirror Products included! Some of these little items included a Nail file/Mirror combo and a Nail Brush! What a great idea for a movie like Mirror Mirror. Even Lil C loved some of the items that were in my box of goodies – ESPECIALLY the word search and maze! It was a fun night for everyone.
We even got some time to do things like…Paint our nails! Not like I have any fingernails to paint… 🙁 I so am a Nail Bitter! 🙁 Trying to quit though – Any suggestions anyone?
After a night of movie watching and giggles, we spent the remainder of the night outside – watching the sun set, and gabbing like women do! There was a BEAUTIFUL Sunset – and thankfully the rain held off the whole night – for night full of fireworks. In EVER which direction! It was amazing. Better than any fairy tale ending!
If you haven’t seen Mirror Mirror Yet… I would recommend taking a moment to rent or purchase it! Mirror Mirror is in Stores like Target and Walmart! I already have my other family members lining up to borrow the movie! I keep telling them, that they should have showed up to the party! Maybe I’ll have to have another Girls night in so we can Watch it again!
