So the other day I had someone call me by a completely wrong name. After they realized their mistake, they asked me what my name really was. So I told them what it was and then finished by saying “you can call me anything but Late for Dinner”. I have heard this phrase MANY times while growing up, but actually took the time to think about it. I, thankfully, have not been late for dinner, but there have been times where I have been late. Mainly because I just lost track of time. Maybe if I wore a watch, that wouldn’t happen as often. But I hate the plain Jane watches that everyone else has. That’s when I heard about JORD Wood Watches. The uniqueness of the watch was just what I needed to make sure I wore one.

One thing that I noticed about JORD Wood Watches is they have watches that are Men’s, Women’s and Unisex. We received the FieldCrest Watch – which is both in the Men’s and Women’s Category. Currently, my husband has taken over this watch, which is a Compliment to JORD because he never wears watches. I guess I will have to ask for one for my Birthday! (Hint Hint Hunny! I currently have my eye on the Teal Faced Cora Watch! It’s GORGEOUS)
Just as this watch is Unisex, it is also great for ALL Occasions! As you can see it goes well with Casual apparel, as well as dress apparel. The Hubby didn’t believe me when I told him that I had a wood watch coming for us to try out. He’s never seen one until now. Just like any watch, JORD Wood Watches will need a cleaning to keep their original appearance. Wood is naturally a porous material and it is prone to dirt and oil.
For best cleaning results, JORD recommends mixing two tablespoons each of olive oil and lemon juice. Then you apply that mixture to a soft cotton cloth, wring the cloth to spread the mixture into the material, then apply to the wood using brisk strokes. Over time, it may develop a patina. If you want to maintain the original appearance it is recommended that you apply a natural coating like Beeswax, butcherblock oil, or walnut oil.
