Huggies_3One thing that I forgot was how many diapers a newborn goes through.  Even though we got a good selection of diapers at our Baby Shower, I still have managed to run out.  Thankfully we have a Target right around the corner.  So off we went to get some Diapers for Peanut. Huggies_5Target has a Whole aisle dedicated to Diapers.  Currently we don’t have a brand Preference, so we tend to buy what is on sale.  Huggies were on sale this week, so we figured we’d try them out.  As crazy as it was, I went on the first day of the sale, and There were so many sizes picked over already!   Peanut is in a size 1, and I thought for sure that I was going to have to look at a different Target to find them, but as soon as I turned around the corner, I found the size I needed on the Endcap!   Huggies_2This was the first time we have tried the Huggies Little Snugglers diapers.  I have heard a lot of good about them, So I figured, now would be the best time to put them to the test.    Some of the features of the Little Snugglers are:

  • Cottony-soft inside and out to help keep new baby comfy
  • Wetness indicator lets you know when it’s time to change
  • Umbilical cord cut-out to help protect sensitive belly buttons  (in Newborns)
  • Flexible, pocketed back waistband to help keep in mess
  • Unique stretchy SnugFit* Waistband provides a gentle, secure fit

One thing that I noticed about the Little Snugglers was the fact that the back had a stretchy waistband.  Peanut is quite skinny so far, So she needs the little extra snugness around he waist.  So far with the little extra Snuggle that these diapers give Peanut, I have not had poop go up her back.   Also, for those new moms… If you’re not sure if your little one is wet (especially when they’re a new born and you’re trying to track how many wet/dirty diapers they have)   There is a little line that goes from the front to the back down the center.  This starts off as Yellow when it is dry.  As your little one pees, it turns a bold blue… and if they REALLY pee, then that blue line becomes a little fuzzy.  (You can see in the photo above, that was after a couple hour nap).   Huggies Little Snugglers diapers feature a GentleAbsorb Liner for a layer of protection.  This cushiony layer also draws the mess away from your little one’s skin.   I have noticed that these run a hair smaller than some other brands, So if you’ve never used them, and are already going in between sizes, then I’d suggest just going up to the next size.   Huggies_1

Huggies Little Snugglers can be found in your local Grocery stores and mass retailers Nationwide.  They are available in sizes Preemie up through size 3 (16-28lbs).   The suggested retial price for the Huggies Little Snugglers is $11.99 for a Jumbo Pack and $22.99 for the Big Pack (box).

Are you or someone you know expecting?   If you are make sure to create a Target registry which includes Huggies Little Snugglers and Natural Care Wipes.  Then upload your registry link on the Huggies Register Your Wish website and you can be entered to win a years supply of free diapers.
