I’m in a Facebook group of ladies that are all due between May and June.  And the topic of what is going in their hospital bag came up.  Everyone suggested the basics – Baby outfit, coming home clothes, chapstick, etc… But one thing that was mentioned (that I never thought about) was a good set of pajamas.  And for those moms that are going to breast feed, a good set of Nursing Pajamas.    So when Glamourmom sent me one of their Nursing Bra Nightgowns for review, I knew exactly what had to go in my overnight bag. logo_2012

Features about the Glamourmom Nursing Bra Nightgown:

  • Original design for full discretion and support
  • Built-in nursing bra with hook closures for easy, one-handed access
  • Satin trim and v-neck for sleepwear fashion
  • Empire waist cut and knee length
  • Wide, adjustable, elastic bra straps for more support
  • Lightweight cotton is cool and comfortable
  • Machine washable
  • 95% Cotton, 5% Elastane

With Lil C, I never had any nightwear that were nursing friendly.  Thankfully it was just him and I that were in the room when he nursed at night – so I didn’t feel too uncomfortable that others may see me bare all.  But now Lil C is grown, and Lil Miss is with us on the weekends. So  I want to make sure that I can still feed peanut with out having to worry about any chance of exposing myself in front of either of the kids.  When I received my nightgown I couldn’t wait to try it on.   It is Very light and airy – perfect for the upcoming Spring/Summer season in Michigan.  It is also the perfect length for a new mother.  Even with the current baby bump, this comes down to my knees (Which is something that I was afraid of not happening – because my bump is pretty big!)  I am looking forward to being able to wear it, and it being a hair longer after peanut is born.  The Built in Nursing bra is a perfect fit.   When I first tried this on, I wondered if I would have to fiddle with the girls to get proper placement for peanut to feed… But after a few moments of wearing the nightgown, I unsnapped the Bra part and found the girls PERFECTLY placed!    This puts my mind at ease – especially with those late night feedings right after peanut arrives.

You can purchase your own Nursing night gown online.  Make sure to follow Glamourmom on twitter and Facebook.
