I know that Vaccinations is a Very Hot Topic.  Should you Vaccinate your children, or should you not.  There are pros and cons of each side.   I personally have always been for most Vaccinations.  When I had lil C, I kept to the traditional Vaccination schedule…. No one ever questioned my decisions on that.  But now with Peanut coming, I keep getting questioned on if I am going to Vaccinate her, or not.    And when I tell people that I am planning on sticking to the Traditional Vaccination schedule, many people try to talk me out of it.  I have been told that its Vaccinations that cause Autism… But, I personally don’t believe that Vaccines are the only factor.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of National Infant Immunization Week (NIIW), an annual observance to highlight the importance of protecting infants from vaccine-preventable diseases and to celebrate the achievements of immunization programs in promoting healthy communities throughout the United States.    Did you know that in 2013, 189 people in the US have reported having Measles (Which is the largest reported outbreak in the US since 1996)?  I personally am wanting to protect my child from being one in those statistics.

What: Twitter Party:  The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in sharing how immunizations early in life can help protect children from 14 serious diseases before they turn two years old. The CDC’s recommended immunization schedules, along with interesting facts and helpful tips will be provided
