Divorce has become more and more common these days.  And being a female – Even though the law is on your side for child custody (at least here in Michigan), us women are not always prepared financially.  A divorce can be stressful and tragic on both sides – especially  if you are not prepared.  Hollis Colquhoun has written articles and a book to help women survive before, during and after a divorce.  She wrote Women Empowering Themselves: A Financial Survival Guide.  Have you considered Divorce? What about what happens financially after? Women Empowering Themselves is a Financial Survival Guide to help with just that

A little about Women Empowering Themselves:

Our thoughts on Women Empowering Themselves:

I have had the opportunity to read through this book.  Not only would I recommend it for any woman that is going through – or considering a divorce, but I would recommend any woman look through it.  It does give you suggestions on how to take a married budget and break it down to a single budge… It also gives you savings tips and financial goals.  And with the rate of divorce now a days, You can never be too prepared for situations.  It has opened my eyes to all the possibilities and considerations when you look at your life from a married couple to a single person.

If you would like to purchase their book you can find it on Amazon.com
