Everyone has been asking me what I wanted for Christmas.  I keep telling them that ANYTHING baby that  I may need is what is on my list.  You could say that I tended to over-prepare. I didn’t want to be the one who waited until last minute to make sure I have everything.  I like being prepared and knowing that I have everything I need.  One of the most important things on my wish list was a car seat for lil Peanut.  I know without one, I wouldn’t be allowed to leave the hospital. The Graco SnugRide Click Connect 35 Infant Car Seat was on my wish list.

Graco-2(Thank you to my nephew for helping me photo this amazing carseat)

Because we didn’t know what gender peanut is going to be, Graco sent us a Gender Neutral Infant Car seat in the Tangerine color.

Which was great by me, because I actually enjoy the color Orange!  It has been so long since I have had an infant Carseat, that I had a little re-learning to do.  When it arrived, this was set to the smallest shoulder setting.  My nephew is 4 months old, and the original strap settings were to low, so we had to adjust them to fit him.  The straps are easy to adjust – and Any sleep deprived mama will be able to figure out how to do this when their lil peanut grows into the next sizes.   And if you’re peanut is teenie-tiny, there is an infant insert that comes with this Line of Carseats.  These inserts are made SPECIFICALLY for this line – and are approved to be safe for the child.

Another feature about the SnugRide Click Connect 35 that I really enjoy is the fact that it CLICKS when it’s properly in place!

Even though I still double check to make sure it’s properly latched into the base, That click eases my mind.    I know with Lil C I always second guessed myself making sure the seat was properly locked into the base.   While mentioning the base, You can always purchase additional bases for the Graco SnugRide.  This Makes it easy for hubby or I taking peanut places  – No Transferring Carseat Bases.

Graco-3Our next step is finding the perfect Stroller.  The Graco SnugRide Click Connect 35 Infant Car Seat safely connects to all Graco Click Connect strollers to create a travel system.  This is a perfect option for us. We have been looking at many of the Jogging Style Strollers, because of the bigger wheels, and thicker locks.  We feel that will be safer when we go up north in the summer…. Because the terrain up there is a lot bumpier.   Peanut will be here before Memorial day (Crossing fingers he/she isnt late) and we are already planning on going Up North for Memorial Day weekend so Peanut will be comfortable in her carseat – even when its attached to the stroller!

*Disclaimer:  I received the carseat mentioned above in exchange for this post.  All opinions are 100% my own.

Thank you! I love the vibrant orange! Ive seen the “Rust orange” before – and it’s a lot lighter. By far this is one of my favorite colors by Graco!

That is an adorable baby. Also, we used a Snugride for. All 3 of my kids. Loved. Although they have changed a bit since my littlest was in one!
