Miss Z loves her spaghetti o’s and mommy loves how easy they are to make when we have a busy night and need a quick dinner. However for Mr. D we have a hard time with the “quick dinners” most of the spaghetti o’s have some form of cheese or milk product in it. There are very few frozen or canned items that he can have.

Insert major problem… Until mommy went grocery shopping at Kroger this past weekend. I posted once before about KidFresh frozen meals and their chicken n rice bowls that Mr. D likes.(https://thismamaslife.com/soy-sunday-106-chicken-n-rice-frozen-dinner/)

I went looking for a couple of those to leave in the freezer for him and came across a new product (actually there were a couple but only he could only have this one and the chicken) So I figured why not see if he likes them and try something new.

Here is it after its been microwaved and placed in his favorite bowl (lightening mcqueen) They dont look exactly like spaghetti o’s and they are a different sauce but for a kid who’s never had spaghetti o’s they did the job beautifully. The meal is basically spaghetti pasta noodles shaped like O’s and covered in meat sauce.

I have seen the Kids Fresh meals in my local store but since I seldom buy anything pre-packaged I had not given them a second look. It looks good and it would be great to have in the house for those days that I have had a chaotic day.

Those are pretty awesome that there are alternatives to foods for both of them!
My kids have no problem eating anything, yet. except my youngest can’t have apples.
i grew up eating spaghetti os, and honestly i love them. I give them to my kids every so often. 🙂 pics looked like they were well enjoyed though!

I don’t understand why kids love spaghetti-os. Maybe because they atr easy for them to keep on a spoon? Beyond that, I have no idea.
