After lil C was born, I was always paying attention to the time.  Because I knew as soon as I would step out the door, and get anywhere, he would be hungry.  When we were going to be out for a while, I would take a bottle of mama’s milk for him.   But warming it up did prove to be a challenge… Fast forward almost 7 years later, and I find the perfect product.  WarmZe sent me one of their bottle warmers to try.

How does the WarmZe work? “The WarmZe warmer system works with a two-layer bottlesoc and warming wrap that provides up to 8 hours of warmth. Place the bottlesoc on, and lift up top layer. Open warmer wrap and wrap tightly around bottle in between two layers of bottlesoc. Pull outer layer down for snug fit. Warmer will warm formula, breast milk or milk with slow natural heat. Warming takes 30-45 minutes.” (WarmZe)
bottle warmerI really wish they had something like this when Lil C was younger.  There were bottle warmers on the market, but they were all electric.  Or you’d just heat up a pot (if on the stove) or a bowl (if via microwave) of water and let the bottle warm up that way.  Then you always chanced getting the milk too hot that way – and then you would have to let it cool down a little, so it didn’t burn the lil guys mouth.   WarmZe works by using Air activated heat packets (like the kind you may find for hand warmers) to slowly heat up the bottle.  It will take about 30 minutes to get the milk at a good temperature, but it is so worth it.bottle warmer2They come in a couple different prints.  I received the Owl Print.  I really love the pattern – because I don’t see it being gender specific.  It is super easy to use.  Just place the heating pack between the top and bottom layer of the bottlesoc, and let your lil one’s meal warm up.  Each heating pack has an 8 hour life span  – that is only activated by air.  If you only use it for a couple hours, you can place it in an air tight baggie and save it for the next use.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

This will make a nice gift for a baby shower for my friend’s daughter — I am buying her diapers in several sizes and I am going to buy the bottle warmer too.

I really wish that I’d had something like this to hand to the father I’d seen warming his baby’s bottle in a gas station microwave when we were traveling. It’s so much safer for the little ones!

I was wondering how these worked since they take no battery power or electricity. I think this is a really cool product for moms with babies. I am thankfully out of that stage
