Twenty-Six Weeks Down, less than 14 more to go! That means JUST over 3 Months! YIKES!
How Far Along –
As of today I am 26 weeks 4 days
The many different bellies that I see every day. Black tank top, is normally what everyone sees- Peanuts home is very well curvy. The next pic is peanut’s homes true shape. But once I put a hoodie on, The bump disappears! Go Figure (I get asked by many who know i’m pregnant why I don’t look it… Its all an illusion. The last picture… That is the view I get of my feet. Guess having size 9.5 feet help ya see them longer)
Weight Gain/Loss:
Pre-Pregnancy Weight. 168.9.
Last weeks weight: 182.5
Today’s Weight: 184.4
Total Loss/Gain: +15 1/2 lbs
Baby Development – By now, your baby’s lungs and brain are much more developed. in fact, your baby can likely detect light and dark through the optic nerve. Your baby can now also hear more than just your rumbling tummy, such as outside noises like your partner’s voice.

This makes me wish I had done this with my four kids. I craved Olive Garden with my last pregnancy. #sitsblogging Congratulations and I hope the next 3 months go smoothly.
Amy says
I craved it with my son too! And he loves Olive Garden now – Especially the Breadsticks and Salad Dressing. 😀

Just wanted to give you a CONGRATULATIONS shout out! I love how detailed you are in your journal! I have two kids and their journals look like this: active, hurts my ribs, makes me hungry. 🙂 Keep it going! Something you will always cherish!

Thank you! Some days I feel that just putting – “Still Pregnant” is a good enough post, but then I think back and go… Well, If we do try for another one… Still Pregnant doesn’t give me anything to compare it to.
Joie says
You’re going to be so glad that you kept these awesome records later. I know I didn’t keep mine and thought oh I’d remember but after 3 kids and 20 years I don’t.
Amy says
I didn’t keep any record of my pregnancy with my son. And I do regret it. I seriously only have 1 picture of myself when I was pregnant – and that was just before he was born. 🙁
Suzi Satterfield says
Congratulations on your pregnancy! Right now, you’re in one of the best points. 🙂 Hopefully the rest of your pregnancy is smooth and uneventful.
Jeanna McMicking says
I loved being pregnant. You look great. Its amazing how you just wake up one day and BAM – belly! Its the best when you have the little kicks. Such an amazing thing.
Amy says
I Love the kicks. I really didn’t ever feel it when I was pregnant with my son, but I was always on my feet working – so I assume I put him to sleep all the time…

Congrats to you and your LO. Cute picture of the bump with the tips of your feet sticking out 🙂
Laura says
Congratulations! *fyi* I think you give away the gender in a couple of places in your update. Just letting you know in case you really are keeping your lips sealed like you mentioned! 🙂

vickie couturier says
never heard of a baby that size described as the size of a hot house cucumber,,lol,,really cute,,yeah,I also noticed the “she an her” references,,it so hard to keep a secret,,I cant do it
Amy says
What references?! 😀 lol.
Danelle Ice (Home Ever After) says
Congrats! We always did the food size of the baby for each week too (from BabyCenter). It was a fun way to see the growth. Of course, my kids were too young to understand it, so the size reference was mostly for me and my husband!
Amy says
I like the food size relations -but it’s always with healthy style foods. I did hear there was a size relations chart for those less than healthy foods somewhere. 😀
Jessica Fuqua says
I know you’re already 26 weeks, but since this is my first time on your blog, congrats! 🙂 I’m currently 35wks 3days and have gained 30lbs.
Amy says
Ohhh… You’re Getting Close! 😀 Are you excited? Is this your first? I’m trying really hard to stay around the 30lb mark or less…
