12079090_10153476253378673_5379537653855925459_nIt is great when you can surprise the kids.  All day I told lil C that he was going to a Doctor appointment Friday night, so he was nervous. He even told Miss G that he had a doctor appointment, so when we left the house, they were dragging their feet a little.  After grabbing a bite to eat we hit the road.   As soon as they saw the Palace, they knew that they had been fooled.  But Miss G was the one who knew what was going on!  All I heard was “We’re going to Marvel?!  We’re Going to Marvel?!?”

Hubby, Miss G and Lil C are the Marvel Fans.  I have just starting to get into the whole Marvel groove.  So this was a bigger treat for them than myself.  But I will have to admit that I did enjoy myself.

One of my favorite parts was the opening scenes that were on the back wall. There were pictures of the good guys and the bad guys alike!  This is what was found on Ticketmaster about the Show:
Marvel fans, assemble! Marvel Universe LIVE! is taking the live show experience to a whole new level, with a mind-blowing show unlike anything you’ve seen before. Watch your favorite Marvel Super Heroes including Spider-Man, Iron Man and Hulk and threatening villains come to life in an action-packed arena extravaganza, coming to cities around North America. You’ll definitely feel the energy with cutting-edge special effects, pyrotechnics, aerial stunts, martial arts, motorcycles and more, it’s being hailed as the most technically advanced live show ever. Join Marvel fans of all ages for this once-in-a-lifetime, monumental performance. The fate of the universe depends on it!
Marvel_2There is not a Bad seat in the house!  Hubby, Miss G and Lil C LOVED all the Pyrotechnics and Stunts!  Were we were located, I loved hunting out the stage hands and watching the swift scene changes.    We debated on bringing Peanut with us, but with her being so young, I didn’t think she would have sat still long enough.  With all that was going on, it probably would have kept her attention.  There are a lot of loud noises – like Firecracker sounds and the motorbikes that were used for some of the stunts.      After the show, hubby and I were talking.  We concluded that this show was a cross between comic book and movie.   Overall, it had a good story line – and it was entertaining to both the kids.
