The first thing that I remember the nurses showing me when we had peanut was how to swaddle a baby. We had moments where we swaddled her and then times where we didn’t. It is surprising how when babies are snugly kept, they sleep so much better. With so many swaddles on the market, it is hard to choose just one. The Ollie Swaddle is made for babies 0-4 months. With Peanut being 7 months already, I had a hard time trying to swaddle her. There was not getting her to stop moving around. (She hasn’t learned yet that being a bloggers daughter that she will need to pose for photos for Everything!). I got to test this out on one of my friends little ones, and I wish I had this when Peanut was born. Instead of trying to figure out how to swaddle with a blanket, the Ollie Swaddle is super easy to use. Step 1: Lay baby on his/her back in the center. Step 2: take the one side cross across baby’s chest and tuck underneath his/her back. Step 3: cross the other side over & Secure. I love that it gives the option to wrap and tuck the bottom in, or you can leave it loose. Currently they feature Pink Stripe and Blue Stripes, but hopefully they will have a gender neutral color in the future! The Ollie Swaddle has really made me look forward to having another little one in the future.
