Twenty-Two Weeks Down, only 18 more to go!

How Far Along –
As of today I am  22 weeks 4 days

Due Date –
My Due date is May 20, 2014
Boy or Girl –
We do know, but we are keeping our lips sealed a little longer.  We are planning on another Ultrasound for the end of February.  As long as that goes well, we will announce in March what our Peanut will be.
Bump Picture – 22 week bump

Weight Gain/Loss:
Pre-Pregnancy Weight.  168.9.
Last weeks weight:  178.2
Todays Weight: 179.4
Total Loss/Gain:  +11 1/2 lbs

Baby Size – about 11″ (spaghetti Squash)

Baby Development –
Your Baby’s sense are really developing this week.  Taste buds are forming and nerve endings are developed enough for your baby to experience the sensation of touch (BabyBump App for Android)
Symptoms –  Just a Rounding Belly
Current Cravings – No Cravings right now – just have the munchies.
Currently Avoiding –
Not avoiding anything!
Belly Button Status –  Still in
Movement –  Still only feeling the little popcorn popping.   It’s so gentle, Wonder what my lil peanut is doing in there.  Its getting to the point where if you watch carefully enough… You may see my belly jump a little when peanut moves.  But don’t try feeling it, peanut will stop.
Any Appointments? – I had my appointment this past Thursday.  Everything is going good!   Dr said I am measuring 1cm bigger than normal at this time.  But I cant see it 😀
How I have been feeling -I’m starting to feel rollie-pollie.
Reactions from the Kids:  Lil C gets more and more excited every day.  He’s noticing that my belly is getting bigger, and now has started to talk to peanut…

How adorably cute your son is for speaking to his little brother/sister. Can’t wait til I get to experience pregnancy, although I imagine I’ll be a little scared.

Congratulations! It’s so sweet that your son has begin to talk to the baby. It’s good to hear that you are feeling well and not getting too sick. Can’t wait to hear if it’s a girl peanut or a boy peanut. 🙂

Congratulations! I didn’t look that pregnant at 22 weeks this time around but I was overweight so I hadn’t really gained much. I didn’t really look notably pregnant until about a week before I had the baby.

I sometimes measured two weeks ahead, then a week, then a week behind, then a week again, then two weeks again, a week behind, and in the end right on target. I wasn’t worried when I was two weeks ahead, that was pretty typical for me.

Oh my, congratulations lady…I had no idea you were pregnant! This is such a cute idea to preserve your memories of your pregnancy, your kid will love being able to look back when they are older and see just how excited their mama was before they were born. Our oldest daughter used to sign to our second daughter in the womb and then when she was born, the sound of her older sister voice would calm her down almost instantly. They grow up so fast, so enjoy it. Mine are now 18, 17 and 13.

I love your bump pictures. I always instinctively knew the sex of our babies, so there was no surprise.

That’s cute! Did they still sing and tell stories to her after she was born? I’m just wondering if my lil guy will change his attitude after peanuts born…

They are wonderful help with her and she loves them. She will try to follow them around and wants to get into everything they are into.
